Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By installing or using Kharch Log (“the App”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The service
Kharch Log helps you record personal expenses and income on Android and sync them to a Google Sheet in your own Google account. Features may change as the App is updated.
3. Your account & responsibilities
- You must use a Google account you are allowed to access.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for who you share your spreadsheet with.
- You are responsible for granting or denying device permissions (SMS, battery, etc.).
- Do not misuse the App (reverse engineer for harm, abuse Google APIs, or violate applicable law).
4. Google services
Sign-In and Drive/Sheets features depend on Google. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for Google outages, quota limits, or account restrictions.
5. SMS parsing (optional)
Auto-detect from SMS is best-effort and may miss or misread some message formats. Always verify important entries. Manual add remains available.
6. No warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. It is a personal tool, not professional financial, tax, or accounting advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kharch Log and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data/profits arising from use of the App.
8. Sideloaded builds
If you install a debug/sideloaded APK outside an official store, you accept the risks of installing apps from unknown sources on your own devices.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
